Gachas come with design choices that make them unplayable to me. I don't want to do daily chores, I don't want to have to do hundreds of rolls to get a character I want, I don't want limited time FOMO bullshit. I want a complete game that I can enjoy at my own pace and that isn't trying to extract money from me at every opportunity. Yes you get free shit but you still have to engage with systems that are designed to milk you dry and I find that draining.
