Besides Stardew Valley, there's also Rimworld and Factorio. The trio of the massively moddable endless sandbox games that you can play for a long time and be comfy.
There's also Elin I guess.

Isn't any game good for playing your own music, as long as you don't care about what you're hearing?

Any of the Truck Simulator games. When it's night or rains in the game its peak cozy.

It's an ok game but zero replayability and not even in the same league, nor even next door to SDV, in terms of freedom and options.

I wanted to like that game, but by the time I got to the end game I was just doing the bare minimum required just to finish the last fetch quests. Not to mention it sort of soured the experience to find out just how much stuff is locked behind DLC. Doesn't help either that the big mystery of the game start has yet to be revealed as far as I know, so it's just a whole lotta nothing really.

The base game is kinda charming at first but yeah, it turns into spreadsheet hell real fast. The pacing feels like it was designed by someone who hates free time. The DLCs have some neat ideas but last I checked there were bugs that basically lock you out unless you do some janky workarounds. It’s like they wanted to make a time management sim but forgot to make it fun.

I like grinding Grim Dawn while listening to podcasts or youtube videos.
Also been playing The Long Dark since a lot of it is you moving around seaching for shit and walking place to place. Though probably should avoid listening to loud music since wildlife can fuck you up fast if you're not paying attention.

I've played it on and off for years but could never be bothered to progress further than sprinklers. Biggest farm I had had a chicken coop and a couple of those town hall fetchquest things finished.

Music and podcasts are things you listen to while playing games. Asking for things to play while listening to shit is the most retarded crap I've ever heard.
