Don't let Reddot fool you, Halo 4 is a trash game, just played it 1 month ago, ended up with my finger hurting because the only thing you can do in that game is shooting precision weapons over and over to bullet sponge enemies and nothing more.

as a giant halo fan at one point, like true a fanboy, it was basically the beginning of the end as far as im concerned. it was serviceable but forgettable. i played two chapters of halo 5 and never played it again except some of the multiplayer. whatever the pve mode was.

i wouldnt say halo 4 was a bad game but its a game where i dont think you are missing anything important by not experiencing it.

i still think its a shame that 5 isn't on pc. as a halo book reader, i just want to see blue team in a fucking game.

It was subpar even when I was very excited for halo and coming off of halo 3, anon.
when halo 4 released the gameplay didn't feel special or improved... just slightly off.
Basically the entire promethian side of things seemed weird, and parts of the covenant weaponry felt... repetitive. Like some guns had no place at all and I didn't get why.
The only good part of the story was the relationship between cortana and the master chief.

The multiplayer was another step down from halo 3, especially with forge.
Though take that "step down from 3" with a grain of salt because there are reasons for people to put reach as the peak of multiplayer.
Either way, it WAS a step down from what once was.

I'm still sad that Infinite multiplayer died so quickly. Its another victom of, 'game was rushed out, poorly recieved, improved upon significantly, but by that time it was already dead'.
