This game had a ton potentially but they fumbled it. The patch that added ranked mode was like 2 months late. By the time it arrived I haven't played the game for over a month and I didn't have the drive to grind it anymore. I booted the game up on June 16 to try TYBW Ichigo, played for like 2 hours with a friend and haven't touched it since.

The best bleach game was warcraft 3.

There were amazing fan made maps back in the day, bleach vs one piece, bleach vs naruto, etc, they were fucking awesome.

My favourite one was kind of like a moba(this game type wasn't really defined yet), but no lanes, there were just mob camps around the map and you'd fight eachother when you ran into each other, plus at set intervals, one player from each team would get ported to an arena off the side to 1v1, it was fucking amazing honestly, I'm not even doing ita justice and i still think what I'm saying sounds great. They handled abilities and Bankais beautifully.

Sadly blizzard fucked them all over when reforged replaced WC3 on all our PCs if you have battle.net, and even if you do have the OG game install, idk if you can still find those old maps online anymore.

It did. It was basically a sequel to YYH: Makyo Toitsusen but in my opinion not as good.

Late Bleach is so rife with abstract no-u powers that it would be hard to adapt into a fighting game, though.
