I'll start: Sifu was such a unique and well designed game that rewards skill in a way I have never seen a game do. Very replayable experience. I only wish there was more.

Doing the campaign at age 20 on Master difficulty was some of the most fun I've had in a game but the arenas are abysmal, what were they thinking with these retarded challenges that arbitrarily take options away from combat or railroad you into spamming two moves for the fastest time.

I agree it was so much fun doing a "perfect" run campaign. Very rewarding. As for the arenas, I noticed quickly that I wasn't having any fun with them so I simply did not play them.

The devs then added sex-swapped versions and allowed players to have gay relationships instead (girl/girl, guy/guy) etc. However, the one thing they purposefully did NOT do was allow players to have Tan girl who likes baking and plants + albino hot blooded engineer because it was heckin problematic. So fucking frustrating that the update to give people more options cuts out one of them because it might offend twitter tards. Someone created a hack/mod to try and fix it but its limited because they never designed it to have that heterosexual "inverse of the original" pairing, that new sex-swapped variants were basically made for gay relationships etc. The game is still fine if you play the original pairing and in fact its quite excellent, but I'm frustrated they didn't properly add the one last pairing because a brown calm feminine girl and a albino engineer hot blooded dude is offensive to someone.

dodge his high attacks, it's basically the game checking if you know how to dodge. The third boss is going to giga filter you though. It's a major skill check.

I hate action games where certain attacks are tied to the analog stick instead of the face buttons or triggers. I can never consistently pull off some moves.

You have to do the one specific thing that counters his spam. Its bad design but that's always the end result when your core gameplay options aren't that deep. All the dev can do is shrink down your turn until you are left with one specific option at one specific timing.

Played this after Cuphead and was so disappointed. Fights are long af, you get a lot of leeway (3 health bars, and you heal to full when you beat a phase), but worst of all, it's all scripted as in
>ok this is a parry only phase, you parry the same move 6 times, boss is invincible btw
>ok now it's a bullet hell, you dodge everything, boss is still invincible
>"punish" phase, now we're in melee range and if you counter correctly you can attack the boss for a bit
So fucking tedious. These kinds of games are fun when they're high risk high reward like Cuphead, not this retarded slog.
