Because the PC version is an objectively broken port that continues to run like ass even to this day. The Xbox version is probably the best running one out there, but at least the Switch 2 version lets you have 4 people in a party instead of 3.

I finished the entire game on a RTX 2060 gpu.
It didn't run at 60 fps all the time and had specific areas whit more noticeable frame drops but its still leagues better than playing it at locked 40-45 fps on the switch.
Plus the added bonus of not having to actually buy a fucking Switch 2.

Also the game is 100% playable solo. Or at worst you can get some friends to also buy it on sale for like 10$ and play in coop.
But yea if you have a Switch 2 buy it i dont care not like you have anything else to play considering MK World is kinda bland and DKB is like 6 hours long.

I tried the demo and don't know how to feel about it. It runs okay, but I'd prefer it on PC if that wasn't a dogshit EA-published port that'll lack the new content from S. I wanted to like the Wagasa as a Lance main, but that parry window is WAY too small to be the main feature of the weapon. I ended up doing the best with the Bow since it gave me time to dodge, but I severely miss the ability to aim with gyro, which the Switch 2 is 100% capable of.

I played it on PS5, I hope you Switch 2 guys buy this since it's a good game. Nobody likes the EA involvement but I'm not sure they had anything to do with this port. The karakuri is actually a very fun mechanic, make sure you experiment with your weapon type and find out all the unique karkuri moves it has. My favorite weapons were clawblade, staff, and katana though I have a fair amount of playtime with all weapons. Also make sure you setup networks of vines and base camps, it'll make hunting way faster and it's honestly fun just setting it all up in general. Try and look for spots to setup camps where no monsters pass through and same thing with vines.

Probably not unless the Switch 2 port does way better than expected. Omega Force is great when they're not forced to make musou games so I hope we do get WH2 or Toukiden 3.

Yeah, Wagasa looks cool as hell but trying to get consistent parries with it felt like trying to counter Kaiju punches with a toothpick. The animation lock is brutal when you whiff it too, feels like they slapped a high skill floor on it but forgot to add the reward ceiling. Bow’s definitely comfy though, especially in solo. I noticed the lack of gyro too, total missed opportunity-especially when even Splatoon got that perfect on OG Switch.

As for the PC port, yeah, if it’s anything like Wild Hearts OG release, it’s gonna be an unoptimized mess with broken matchmaking and month-late patches. EA just can’t publish a game without somehow lighting it on fire first. Honestly I’d wait six months for a patch drop and a 50% off sale before even thinking about it on PC. Meanwhile, curse my inner timmy for preordering on Switch 2 like a fool.
