What do video games mean to you?

I have never enjoyed real life, the only time I feel human, the only time I feel emotional connection towards others is in a video game. I didn't cry when my grandparents died, I did when I beat Ico and MGS3.

They are important cogs in the simulation. For a large population of people, they are to be entrained to produce wealth for their leaders and spend their free time entranced by fantasy.

It's where I'm alive.
I hate realism and do not connect with others because I hate what they like and they don't like what I like.
I don't yearn for career, companionship, financial success, I yearn for persistant, virtual experiences that my brain can accept as my new reality where I can forget who I am and reality, because god life is so fucking ugly
