>same price as the steam deck lcd in the uk new, at £349, cheaper than the switch 2
>better chipset
>better battery life with a 55 wt hour battery compared to the 40 watts on the lcd steam deck, and 19 watts on the switch 2
>more storage 512gb vs 256gb

Should I chip in and buy one

On steam or epic games store you retard, the console has a launcher that also helps. I could also instead steam os if I really want to.

Mainly epic though I've got a ton of free games over there.

So it's really not an alternative. And you think Epic is better?

Yea, I have more games on epic, like 380 and even on gog. But desu Idk you you are so pressed over this lmao

It is faster than the steam deck chipset slower than the z1 extreme. On par with the switch 2 iirc.

Yea, I have more games on epic, like 380 and even on gog 140, on steam I just have lossless scalling and going under. But desu Idk why you are so pressed over this lmao. It is a pc handheld. Which has better specs than the lcd steam deck for the same price.

It is faster than the steam deck chipset slower than the z1 extreme. On par with the switch 2 iirc. It uses the 6800u chipset basically.

My problem with the legion go is that it's far too thick and clumsy to be handled like a handheld. It shits out a lot of heat and has a pretty bad battery life when playing games that use the power you're paying for.
I unironically recommend the Steam Deck OLED more if you want a handheld for your PC games. If you want to play new Nintendo games or your Switch 1 backlog, then get a Switch 2.

I really wonder why people ask this "Should I get a Switch 2 or [other pc handheld]" shit. If you like first party Nintendo games then get it, if not then go for the other option. Do you really need someone to tell you about your own game tastes?

Depends on the game. What I mean is that you're getting high clock speeds and a higher power budget with the legion go, and with that you'd play some games that struggle on Deck, but you realize that you get woefully little battery life when doing so. On the other hand, the Deck OLED, while not as powerful, usually plays its most suitable games for like 3.5-4 hours at a minimum, and lighter games like Hades can easily get 4.5-5 hours, sometimes more if you limit them to 45 FPS.

Many people do, but oftentimes there are just threads to start consolewar shit. Wouldn't be surprised if OP just wanted some people to start shitting on either side

It has almost the same thickness as the steam deck though and the same weight. And has better battery life than the steam deck lcd playing demanding games and even some medium sized indies especially if you run it on steam os.

I don't really see a massive problem with it for the pricepoint, compared to the lcd deck it is good and arguably better than the steam deck oled considering you have even more power if you go full tilt.

The battery life is good on the legion go s.

No, I was just quite shocked that the price for a legion go s was this low. Insane desu, though it does show that the actual cost for these handheld are a lot lower than you think.
