Did this come out already? Last time i've heard of it was like 6+ years ago and the only thing i knew about it was that it's from the Neo Scavanger devs. I'll have to take a look at it later.

its still in early access, but its on steam! far from being a complete game, but its a working game.

so far, I've been able to play the game's core gameplay without issues: docking/undocking, space travelling, salvaging ships, selling parts, building new structures and expand on mine.
They have a little bug here and there, but the game feels great.
lot of potential, great RP and immersion
here's the roadmap, so far we're in 0.14
