Outer Wilds and Elden Rings are similar. In that both games can only be truly experienced once. But while Outer Wilds is a game where your experiences and knowledge is interwoven into the gameplay and design and the "AHA" moments, in Elden Ring it's just that the game fucking lies to you and the impressiveness of it's content dies the more you play and you realize that Miyazaki is a fucking hack.

Heard good things about both. ER is a soulslike so I won't touch it; can't stomach sl games. OW seems like it'll bore me after a few hours of the timeloop. All in all, both are not for me.
