Games letting you absolutely demolish them if you know how is based. Modern soulless devs would see players having fun like this and release an emergency hotfix to "balance" it.

I think the Shield Rod combo with the Alucard Shield allows the user to deal a lot of damage, while the user absorbs 8 health every time the shield connects with the enemy.
