I've only been to internet cafes out of necessity a handful of times. One of which was my building losing power for a full week so I went to a cafe downtown everyday for both work and then gaming inbetween/after.
It was actually very comfy, most people were respectful, kept to themselves and the only sounds you heard was clicking and clacking of keyboards and maybe people talking to the owner at the front desk. Once in a while there is some intense lan matches of some game going on and you'll go get a coffee and watch someone's screen for a few minutes before going back

I switched to them when MS stopped making the Intellimouse line, and I've gotten consistently solid products from them. $55 for what's essentially a game controller that does a lot more isn't a lot to me. I consider some of my most fond memories in gaming in general playing Quake 3 Arena, Counterstrike, BF2, Unreal Tournament 1999 in net cafes.
