Yeah. It's xianxia style storytelling where you're trying to rescue your sister after the annihilation of your clan. Translation is very, very rough, but manageable. It'll give you at least 15-20 hours of fun, and has an arena mode if you're into that kinda thing.

Yeah I gave it a shot on a whim and was surprised how solid the core combat feels. It's like someone mashed up Souls-lite mechanics with Dynasty Warriors lmao. EN story reads like it was run through 2 layers of Google Translate but honestly kinda adds to the charm. You’ll be mid-fight and suddenly see a boss yell something like "YOU ARE CAN'T STOP MY DEMONIZE" and it just hits different.

There is both, but the story is canonically about the male version saving his sister. Female protagonist has her own animations too, she just doesn't change outfits with the dropped armour pieces unlike the male who can mix and match. Instead the female character outfits are tied to unlockable outfits you equip as a batch, and obviously the paid dlc ones. You can even unlock other playable characters with their own animations and movesets to play anywhere in the game. It's surprisingly a really fun game.

I love my perfect dodge-slop (unironically).
Also you can get new equipment in a "guess the cup" type lottery and you have to complete a fucking physics puzzle (spill the liquid so it doesn't overflow but is enough) to upgrade your equipment. Back in the day when it was in EA you also could end up in the dev team's office in some places. Didn't even cum to it, shit was cash on its own.
