I'm not a Snoy I got fucked picking up the box for Bloodborne, the Kingdom Hearts Collection, and Death Stranding. Just like I got fucked picking up an Xbone for MCC. 20fps Eldricth Horror with half-baked dungeon crawls was still fucking PEAK compared to the rest of the line-up. Duskbloods just looks like chinkslop.

Overall I did like it. But I did feel a lot of things were lacking, like in a lot of parts it really did feel like there was cut content.
DLC felt most disappointing though. Shitty final boss, questlines boring or going nowhere. Had a whole fuckin interesting looking area for the fingers and barely anything came of it.
Haven't tried Nightreign yet, at this point I probably won't at all.

I liked all the combat segments of Elden Ring + the DLC and the equipment visuals were great, but I didn't really care for any other aspects at all. I will probably never replay it.

I though the DLC was incredible other than the story and quest lines. The bosses were amazing and the areas looked incredible.
The ending was a huge let down after all the hype. I get that all the previous Souls games just kinda end with an vague, sometimes unceremonious cutscene but the PCR ending really takes the cake for "that's it?"

Worst souls game, worst mechanics, worst bosses, worst weapons. Ass.

Thoughts?

Nightreign is fun but it's very low-effort
The concept was never going to draw as many players as the original, especially launching with 3 player mode only

It just proved the more focused, metroidvania-eque environments of the other games is the way to go for that type of gameplay.
The gameworld and progression itself becomes more of the "narrative" when its more linear and less "lol just fuck off into the wilderness"
