Zoomer thread. Nintendo peaked in the summer of 92.
>>717072864 (OP)The only nintendo handheld that is comfortable to hold with big hands
>>717072864 (OP)Sorry, OP here. Haha I posted the wrong image. Fixed!
>>717072864 (OP)I wish the stupid screen didn't break if you sneeze while holding it and that it was easier to repair
it was a fucking steal at 8
79.99 though, insane that people are willing to pay 5x that price now and see no issue with it less than a decade later.
>>717073186meant to be 79.99, thought I erased the 8 but I hit enter, whoops
>>717072976i heard something else interesting about that sweltering summer of '92
>>717072864 (OP)>Mushy buttons>Shit build quality>No circle pad pro add on support>Mono speaker>PeakThrow that shit in the trash.
>>717072976Reminds me of that tragedy
>>717072864 (OP)2ds was great, honestly a really comfy form factor. Maybe I should get one of those chinkhelds that's a plank like that.
"Peaking" can be debatable, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the 3DS times immensely. I still have so much stuff left to play on it, and the dedicated handheld platform was just a perfect thing to get experimental games on for decent prices. I really do miss those times. These days even Nintendo seems to be going hard on the "gaming is a luxury hobby and only the rich may apply" kind of route, and it's such a stark contrast to when you could get 2DS with Mario Kart included for 80$, now the mere game is priced that high.
>>717072864 (OP)I can't believe ppl are nostalgic for the 3ds
>>717074878It's not nostalgia
the 3ds itself sucked
the 2ds was comfy, goofy, and cheap though, and that's something we should have more of nowadays.
