A lot of effort went into Avatar, that fact doesn't make me like it any more.
Likewise there are a ton of projects made by a handful of people with a shoestring budget that are incredibly entertaining.

Nobody owes you anything. It's subjective. If something was done poorly it did not suit your taste and that's fine. Discuss the actual decision making process and offer alternatives that you would have liked to have seen.

I like 2D-HD style, but I don't think it's a good fit for an action game. I'm more interested in Zeropath Traveler, character creation and town building sound like fun additions to the formula.
