Sidegrade. The extra scenes for Strega, the male party member pseudo s. Links and the rebalanced story bosses add a lot to the game. Visually the game isn't as cool without the weary edgy 00s color palette. The soundtrack is a mixed bag, remixes aren't as good as the original versions but all the new tracks are bangers.

The game is easier not only because you can control your party members but because they are insanely OP in this version of the game, getting passive buffs and abilities that ignore all resistances. There is no challenge at all, even in the hardest difficulty.
The art direction is way worse than in FES, this also affects the shitty DLC with worse cutscene/animation quality overall.
They added some more things to do, which is appreciated, but at the same time, the dark and gloomy vibes the original had suffer from the new additions being too "happy" at times.
It's pretty much a different game at this point. I still prefer the OG, but Reload also added a bunch of QOL changes. It's not worth full price, buy it on a sale or just emulate the original.
