China has existed for 5000 years (it hasn't but that's their propaganda) and has produced exactly three good works of literature, two of which came out in rougly the same time period (a 50ish year period around the end of the Yuan and start of the Ming dynasties) and the other (Jourey to the West) a full century after Columbus discovered America. They have produced no other stories worth anything. Their contributions to music, poetry, painting and other forms of art are nil. Nobody has cared about a Chinese opera or any other form of Chinese theater nor could anyone tell you what they are. The Chinese are an ultimately artless people who cannot create but merely imitate that which other countries do and then pasting one of their myth stories over it. They will never create a good video game much like how they will never create any other work of art worthy of being called such.

I can guarantee you any of their "cool indie games" are just Dollar General versions of games from other countries with either mythological power fantasies or Confucianist "bow before your betters and know your place" bootlickery for stories like every fucking thing else they make.
