I got world, but playing it hurts my hands, and my old pro control doesn't work right for some reason, like the stick isn't straight, along with a little drifting every so often. Should I get the s2 pc?

buy the gulikit replacement hall effect sticks for the pro controller, if you are not into soldering get someone to install them for you, that still would be cheaper than buying a switch 2 pro controtroller

The game is at least 69% better running at 60fps, I'd say £7.99 is fair. Ultimately suppose it depends how much you like the game though. I never got around to finishing it on switch so thought fuck it why not.

the upgrade packs for botw/totk are free to NSO subscribers, so nintendo deliberately capped the games' performance on switch 2 without the packs to convince subscribers that buying other packs is worth it, despite most other games performing significantly better on S2 without an upgrade just by nature of the hardware

not a conspiracy, just a simple business practice. nothing's stopping nintendo from raising the frame cap on S2 in an update without an upgrade pack, other games are doing it and it would take an intern all of five minutes to get done.
anyway, the salient point is that botw/totk upgrade packs are free if you have NSO, just go find them on the eshop and download them.

Only just got it but I played a good bit of Donkey Kong, poked at a few small digital games I had on switch and tried a bit of the demo for that elliot game, i'll probably try and finish the elliot demo today

I was a little disappointed to find Youtube and Crunchyroll aren't compatible with switch 2

Just got mine earlier and Splatoon 3 is downloading, should've been done a while ago but the download just fucking stopped for whatever reason, which is an amazing sign the eshop servers are still as garbage as when I used to buy shit for my 3DS. I Thought of emulating Splatoon with the joycons on PC while its download takes so long and maybe have a cheep laugh while I get used to the joycons but they don't seem to pair on Windows which is a real bummer because I wanted to try using it as a tabmate controller while drawing as well.
While I've already played its and the previous games' singleplayer over cemu and yuzu I'm quite hyped to play online for the first time, also got that Elliot game demo and will get DK sometime next month or after. Probably still going to emulate Switch 1 versions of ZA and Prime 4 though.

Because those games aren't capped to begin with, they get significantly better on emulators as well but not the Zeldas which are capped at 30, you need a custom patch. ToTK also has dynamic resolution on Switch 1 but I'm sure it doesn't need to drop resolution on Switch 2 even without the upgrade pack applied. Of course, they could make it free and I find it ridiculous they don't, but saying they're deliberately capping it on Switch 2 is quite the stretch.
