Can I mod out all the gay RPG stuff and just play this as a shooter?

I just started playing this game recently, I’m like 5 hours in and playing it right now. Seems very cool so far. Haven’t encountered anything gay up until now but there is a nigger character, BUT I looked into spoilers just a bit and apparently he betrays you early on and becomes an enemy so at least he’s not some kind of virtuous brownoid and I am guess we can shotgun his brains out later on

You can try, but the shooting is worse than Far Cry or Mankind Divided, so why even bother? Enjoy the shitty driving and AI while you're at it, not to mention the annoying ass side characters.

Yeah I decided to not play it. Terrible shooting and combat is what made my playthrough in 2023 boring as hell I can't go through it again even with mods

To each his own. Far Cry is far from perfect, and obviously the settings are very different, but I found it impossible to play Cyberpunk coming off of a replay of Far Cry 4 even. The technicalities relating to how weapons, driving, and even movement handle is night and day, no pun intended.
And now that we know that CDPR is pretty much just as fucking retarded from a business and creative perspective as Ubisoft is, may as well go for the one that incidentally has a team of developers who know what the fuck they're doing and have done for 15 years now, yeah?
