>>717179360 (OP) I'd rather have this than the AI path find and leisurely waddle towards the correct interaction point. No animation at all is acceptable too.
>>717179360 (OP) KH2 - instead of lazily sliding your entire model, it simply angles you towards the object and interpolates the animation with a bit of IK. just a tiny bit of effort and passion for your work goes a long way.
Was there anglo slop being made in the 1910s-1920s?

>>717179889 >Press button >Character spends a minute spinning around and walking in a circle so they can be perfectly aligned for the button press animation Just give me the slide
>>717179360 (OP) The problem in this case is that they don't let you walk slowly to it, in order to aim better and avoid situations like this. I always hated how FF7R doesnt have any hotkey assigned to let the character just walk, instead of running, in order to use it when needed.
>>717179889 that walk can be fast. it was never a problem in ratchet and clank and many other polished games. you can also just have your character take one big stride/step into the intractable area.

>>717180379 sounds like bad programing. a step can work the same way the "slide" works but faster and you actually make an animation for it because you're not a pathetic lazy pajeet. further more cloud doesn't need to be in a specific place to ring the bell. it can be done from anywhere in reaching distance you just turn him to face it and use IK like >>717180097
