Never. The Chinese aren't stupid. The only thing I can see them doing is making their gachas playable on console. They already make infinite money with phone + PC ports of the phone games. Consoles are a Western thing, and everywhere else, they'd rather have a cheap PC over a console.

If someone has a PC, they can pirate their games, or they can play Free to Play games. It's what I did, so I know what poor people do.

Why would anyone enter a dying market?
If consoles were still a good idea Meta, Google, Elon musk would all be making them.

Aren't there already a bunch of Chinese companies selling prebuilt gaming PCs?
I mean given China's censorship stuff I don't think much else could really establish itself globally
