Why did everyone hate Persona 5 The Phantom X?

it is getting review bombed because of the gacha system being stingy even by gacha standards. especially compared to the chinese version which is event by event less stingy.

I say this as someone who's been playing persona since 2:IS, persona kind of sucks. The mainline games are fun but get worse with each new instalment (especially how much time it takes before you're let off the leash and how much of the game is taken up by cutscenes and obviously railroaded segments)

Subway slammer is legitimately the only redeemable thing about this game because it's hilarious
