Pretty much yeah.
As far as we know, no more DBS anime can happen due to the ongoing rights dispute, which is why Dragon Ball Daima was the newest project.
The DBS manga is on "indefinite hiatus" and there's already confirmation that said hiatus is stretching to the end of the year, so it's probably cancelled. This is more to do with Toyotaro being just a bad mangaka though, and now that Toriyama's name can't be stamped onto the work, Shueisha wants to keep the manga on the down-low.

It's probably unlikely we'll see anything DBS at all. I'd sooner imagine another rebrand at this point.

Dragon Ball AF was full of bugs. It was almost impossible to play because sometimes the game just freezed whenever you went to some place.

Speaking of, I decided to check on /dbs/.
I filter /a/ to specific threads (I just remove generals and daily shit really, alongside braindead shounenspic threads about SnK's ending or Naruto powerlevels, usually only around 12-18 good threads in the aftermath) and was used to removing at least one /dbs/ thread a day, but I hadn't done that in a while.
Lo and behold, the /dbs/ thread on /a/ is 2 days old. At 330 posts. There's a good chunk of [DELETED] posts, but that's not why the thread was so old for /dbs/.

It's actually because these fucking spastics are camping in /ghost/ and have fucked the archive of the thread by make over 1000 ghostposts in it, it's at nearly 2000 posts with only about 400 of them actually being made on /a/.

Dragon Ball is about to go into dormancy for a long time. On the other hand, Super was already so far in with its own stuff that EoZ couldn't happen without a huge wipe of everything between Buu's defeat and said chapter. Super pretty much got invalidated by Toriyama's death and taking place between that gap. It should have just been a GT reimagining or a new series that takes place after EoZ or even beyond GT with Goku/Vegeta Jr.

We were better off with just getting games and the occasional new stuff like 21 and the female Ginyu force member.

Shit like Moro and Granolah were never planned or intended to show up in the anime- if they were, the anime wouldn't have ended. Much of the Dragon Ball Super manga even prior to the anime's conclusion is wholly original, including completely original special moves from various characters, and even entire unique transformations (like Goku's "perfected" SSB).

Dragon Ball has been reduced to a shallow caricature of its former self. Up to the end of the Cell saga, Dragon Ball has always had meaningful, solid writing and storytelling which made the most well known aspects of the series (flashy transformations and power-ups, beautiful epic battles, big energy blasts, etc.) feel like a genuinely earned climactic payoff for the story that had been building up prior.

But with recent installments in Super and now Daima, all of that storytelling, buildup, and characterization has been sacrificed in the name of making these big fanservicey moments that have none of the weight found in the scenes they call back to. Nearly the entirety of Super is full of unexplained and unearned transformations and arcs that don’t connect to each other, and Daima fell into that same pit.

In the last few episodes of Daima, a long time but noncanon fan-favorite transformation was made canon, but the way Goku achieves it is a sorcerer granting him the power to do it randomly. It was never foreshadowed or alluded to, it just happens purely for the sake of fanservice. Super Saiyan 4’s introduction in Daima is straight up shameful compared to how Super Saiyan was carefully layered across the Namek saga, and how Gohan’s hidden potential ultimately culminated in Super Saiyan 2. What makes it worse is that roughly the first third of Daima was creating an actually good plot with interesting antagonists and characters, but all of that was dropped over the course of the show, and by the finale, it was reduced to meaningless fighting nonsense that serves no purpose other than to look pretty and make kids yell at their screen.

The fact that xenoverse 3 isn't in development, which would be an absolute money printer, is a pretty good sign that it's dead. They wouldn't still be making DLC for xv2 if it was being developed. 1. Bad DLC support. Super Hero characters should have been base roster. Daima is anti-hype.
2. Single player content is mediocre.
3. People don't like a lot of its gameplay changes from BT3's systems, so multiplayer isn't that fun either.
Casuals went back to Xenoverse and the sweats went back to FighterZ. Sparking Zero is in need for some patches and cooler DLC, but Bandai might feel more comfortable supporting Xenoverse for the millionth time.

Super's kind of on hiatus forever. The best we can hope is a manga that will never be considered fully canon.

All because Toriyama made a shitty mini-series that basically ignored Super and continued from Buu then he died, and because Japanese culture treat their founders and elders essentially as Gods (That's why Goku sounds to this day like a screechy old woman, even after he grew up) they won't do anything other than try to continue Daima with some vague notes Toriyama made (he literally makes shit up as he goes along, which is problematic when dead) and even then they're wary in case the spirit of Toriyama-sama disapproves.

Honestly they should just sell the franchise to a country that isn't stuck 500 years in the past when it comes to creative ownership. Toriyama's dead. Move on with the multi-million franchise he started.
