All of those games are made by different developers who can focus on a single project; Soulcalibur is another Bandai Namco property, for that reason it will be treated as a lesser priority than Tekken since it is only half as a successful as a franchise (except that time Tekken did so poorly with Tag 2 that SCV sold better than it on launch).

Bandai Namco will only allow for anyone at their office to even think about Soulcalibur when Tekken 8 is on its fourth or fifth season.

Game looks good. With Tekken and Soul Calibur adding super meters and dash cancel shit like 2D games have, this is the only 3D fighter that still plays like a 3D fighter.
I've played Tekken for 20 years and I just do it anymore. T8 is just filled with stupid flashy bullshit to appeal to dummies and it doesn't even feel like Tekken anymore. Hopefully Sega keep the feel of VF alive. Looks good so far so I hope Sega don't fuck it up as they are wont to do.
