I've just launched an Anniversary Event, meant to help new players get started and catch up a little. It's not too late to discover or rediscover Ragnarok Online together with other Anons.

Ragna/v/ is a Ragnarok Online private server promoted only here on 4chan. There is no monetization, no cash shop, no Discord or external communication except for threads on 4chan.

Depends on the class you play. Snipers, priests and wizards can go by with very little gear, but ro is a very complex rpg and gearing is just in the nature of it.

what's the erp scene like on ragnarok online

it was really impressive on launch to see a 4chan server get like 100 players but i can't really think of a reason to play when it's this low and old now
doesn't really help that there's a schizo from /vm/ whose only goal is to kill off every 4chan ragnarok community, so discussion is going to be bogged down by unmedicated ramblings

I love /vg/ for autistic games like minecraft and factorio, but anything with a social aspect of any kind there is un-usable after more than 3 months.
The art from Ragna/v/ was great though, I still have Gordon Ramsey cooking in payon as my laptops background.
