There simply no NEED for a seventh fighting game.

They probably make more money off their gacha than every single fighting game on earth except SF6. There will never be a 7. They should still port 2-3-4.

If you thought the Core Values was nail in the coffin for DOA in tournaments, the true end was Koei Tecmo taking ESG pledge and having an "ethics department for global audiences", ensuring games released outside of Japan are fulll Commiefornia certified. You certainly won't see any more Dead or Alives.

Look what the did with Dynasty Warriors Origins, toned down the women, and inserted gay flirt text with male officers. Don't buy anything from that company, including Ninja Gaiden 4 and Nioh 3.

Unfortunately the fighting game series is pretty dead because of how badly 6 did. Too bad, because even with the weird decisions, I still enjoyed playing it.

I liked when they announced a special stream about DOA6 and in that stream they announced they were ending support and that the series was dead for the foreseeable future.
