Honestly there is a bit more in the game than I would have thought, but its stuck in feature creep hell at this point. Chris has no motivation to release anything or make any real schedule, so its just small additions and bug fixes for eternity now. Shit like fabric wrinkles are worked on before adding more star systems, its a mess.

42 might be good, or even great, but we still have another year at least to wait. I think the development has been more focused than SC for sure, but I assume we're going to get another cp2077 situation where the release is buggy and unoptimized. Only the most hardcore fans will have any fun with it and by the time the dlc comes out no one will care.
