Yes, grappling around Gotham and beating up thugs is exactly what everyone wants from a Batman game, and when Knight lets you do this, the game is good. Unfortunately, Rocksteady dedicated large portions of the game to the fucking Batmobile where you're having tank battles in the streets of Gotham and it becomes easy to forget that this is supposed to be a Batman game. If all you want to do is grapple around and beat up thugs, you're better off sticking to City or even Origins

Not very creative today, are we? All of the Green Lanterns have different gimmicks.
Hal Jordan's a fighter pilot with enough raw will to power an entire country. At minimum he's got potential to play like Ace Combat.
Guy Gardner is a temperamental thug and you can easily integrate Red Lantern shit as well.
Kyle Rayner is a big fucking nerd who loves anime and manga, easily could make an over the top beat 'em up with just him and Guy.
John Stewart and Simon Baz both have experience with guns and would probably the closest to a Mass Effect-esque game but Baz was a car booster meaning potentially fun driving sections and John is so profoundly autistic that he can make perfect replicas of every gun and artillery battery on the planet meaning you could do some fun spawned turret stuff with him.

And that's not including "Make your own Green Lantern" which is its own bottomless wellspring of options.
