I’ve honestly played both I love metaphore and it’s a solid 9 (love the English voices for basilio and fidelio as they have Scouse accents) a great game.

Clair obscure is a modern master piece and totally mogs metaphore. it’s just a fact, I still think about Clair obscure and probably will for years to come.

Because manga is easy to digest and way cheaper to produce than a full anime season or AAA game. Also, most of these IPs are run by suits who want to squeeze every last drop of content out of something mildly popular before the hype dies. If they can shovel out a half-assed manga spinoff and milk some merch sales, they will. Hell, some of these adaptations exist just to keep the brand in the public eye between game releases.
