For beginners, probably Diaphone? When it comes to character specific stuff I just check out Meno for some simple combos and look for specialist guides from good players when I'm ready to dive a little deeper.

Not many at the start, maybe a bread n butter or 2 you can always have in your pocket. The important thing is being able to succeed in neutral. See someone jump in on you? Anti air normal or special anti air (you'll eventually be able to combo off of those, but for now just the hit is fine). See see someone coming at you? Standing heavy. Someone walking in your face? Get ready to tech a grab. Its more important to answer the questions posed to you than to obsess over some 60% combo you labbed out on a dummy. A lot of times as Soriz I'll just round house someone in the face with 5HP and just do his dash punch and win interactions with that.

idk if it's new or not, I picked it up a couple of months ago, probably was there for a long time already

Have fun, with the new DLC releasing you should be able to find new people to play with
