I remember early on it sounded like the game was trying to ape Roblox too much for me, with everything in standalone games rather than addons you could combine.
It's nice they're leaning back into stuff that GMod does, but more powerful.

No, since it wouldn't be including their assets without an existing copy.

It would require the userbase to write their own scripts to read the specific game's files, extract, and import them into the game. Basically a fuckload of work, more than the amount of work Noesis already put in just being a game asset ripper.

One of my absolute favorite games to play as a teenager was vanilla or modded-weapons-only Trouble in Terrorist Town and I cannot fucking find servers for it anymore.

For a brief time s&box had a TTT gamemode and life was wonderful for me. Then the servers started modding themselves to hell and back and forcing people into traitor testers instead of using their fucking brains, or even just shooting blindly. Then life was bad for me again.

Then Garry did a database purge because s&box is hilariously unstable, and then the game removed itself from my memory.
