But I am so fucking pissed there is no way to wedge the ship near the southern observatory so I can skip all the gay platforming. I'm trying to Mass Effect 1 style cheat like how you can cheat the Mako into that one fight on Liara's recruitment mission and the game just won't give me a spot to land

It's surprisingly easy to get to the observatory the normal way, but you actually can force your way with your ship, but it's arguably harder.

All you have to do is skip 4 minutes in the fire, go to one of the twin towers, take the warp core, and install it in the crashed vessel
