Do you have any monster catcher games like Pokemon where it's solely focused on insects/spiders/aliens? Zoo Tycoon & Dungeon Keeper-like games work too.

Chocovader is all real alien sightings. But it's untranslated unfortunately.
I want to say Nanovor, but I think that might be more of a Monster Rancher. I wouldn't know, I never played it. It was this weird website that you connected to a toy.
There's this one called Bugsite for the GBC that's also JP only.
Also, that's an octopus not a bug.
