I would be inclined to argue that it's more difficult than all of them.
But most of the struggle of Mario 64 comes down to the camera, and issues you might have if you aren't used to how he accelerate. The game isn't that difficult once you get used to it.
But then there is always someone who insists that Sunshine is mega difficult or something because they couldn't handle the sand bird for some reason. Or someone will argue that Galaxy 2 is actually the most difficult.
