First bayo is pretty much just a flashier DMC 2.
Bayo 2 is universally despised amongst the fanbase.
And the third game is a gross abomination. Still can't believe they thought making the game play like the dogshit fight against Arklham from DMC 3 where you just command your summon to do the heavy lifting is a good idea.

I love Bayonetta a lot.
1st playthrough, you're confused, struggling and challenge perhaps beyond your ability.
2nd playthrough, you're wiser, calmer, you learn combos, maybe even look up how to dodge offset.
3rd playthrough, you're having great fun, still challenged but doing sick combos.
4th playthrough, you've mastered the game to the point of it being a rhythm game.
