I want to play Morrowind.
And I want to use OpenMW.
Do I still need Morrowind Code Patch and Patch for Purists, or does OpenMW already come with these fixes?
OpenMW already doubles as a bugfix, so none of those are needed
>>717363271 (OP)no, openmw fixes all the bugs already. you dont need any mods
>>717364529>>717365134My intuition tells me I don't need the Code Patch, but I still need Patch of Purists.
>>717365279you don't, I don't even know what it's supposedly fixing. openmw fixed all the bugs
https://modding-openmw.com/ use the i heart vanilla list. warning you must be able to read
>>717363271 (OP)You can't use the Morrowind Code Patch with OpenMW, you're probably still going to want to use Patch for Purists and Morrowind Optimization Patch though
>>717363271 (OP)why did haaland fall so hard bros ?
OpenMW does pretty much everything that MCP and Patch for Purists does.
The only thing I can think of that OpenMW does not support is moving around the persuasion menu, which I seem to remember MCP allowing you to do.

Thanks for the input, guys.
One more question: can I have two copies of Morrowind on my machine - one with Code Patch, and another running on OpenMW, with separate launchers for both? Or must I chose one over the other?
>>717363271 (OP)Its been a few years since I've played Morrowind with OpenMW but afaik the launcher has a build in toggle for the purist patch.
