theres quite a few games with the stick figure look, yomi hustle was not early to the party. This one is not nearly as unique as yomi hustle, this is just a smash clone focused on fun. no shields, just combos

I know its not the first nor will it be the last game to use stick figures.
But there's a specific feel to the way these ones look that seems like a mindful decision to sort of meld the two parallel games together, plus with Ninja being a future character, the similarities between the games visual identities isn't lost on the dev.
