They're all kino.

9 is clearly the best.
X has a decent roster, but it's still marginally worse (mostly due to the retarded focus on "the cage family" and special forces)
11 has an abysmal story, the fatal blow thing is so retarded I can't be bothered to go in depth with it.
1 is literally the death of NRS. That it was even released tells you the company, and any other dev under WB games are prohibited from making good games.

I couldn't give a fuck, honestly. I disagree with X being marginally worse than 9. I liked the roster and I'd argue it has the best gameplay of the series. As for 11, Fatal Blow is just a variation of the X-Ray attack but you're limited to using it at 30% health. I find it no better or worse as a result. MK1 can fuck off.

A good chunk of them have firearms for some reason. X also started the trend of every character having a weapon accessory, which I personally just find annoying.

X-rays don't have armor that interrupts whatever you're doing. X-rays (in MK9, X was awful with this) were short and sweet and didnt interrupt the flow of the fight. X-rays depleted your meter completely and thus were rarely, if ever, seen because they're a waste and basically noob bait.
