The main "exclusive" of the Deck is being able to install whatever software you want without doing a stupid and pointless jailbreak dance in order to own your hardware. Can't say the same for the Switch 2.

Steam Deck owner here that is the biggest crock of shit I've ever heard in my life because playing pirated games (especially if they require cracks) or emulation is surprisingly complex in terms of all the shit you have to get set up. And before you say "retroarch is so easy retard" I'm talking about systems that actually matter like switch or PS3
Linux in general is very much skewed towards power users and just because I know how to do this stuff doesn't mean it's fun. My normie friends with steam deck have to ask me to pirate PS2 games and load them on and add steamos shortcuts because they could never figure it out on their own.

There's literally no reason to use Emudeck. I was able to bring Tekken 5 with a pair of Dualsense controllers to an outing and it worked flawlessly with family. Unless you need to tinker with a specific game like Ace Combat Zero or Demon's Souls, emulation is braindead simple. Plus the Deck is still too weak for PS3 emulation anyways.

People that want the Deck to have exclusives (software that can only be played on Deck, not PCs in general) are legit retarded and don't understand the appeal of PC. If Valve locked HL3 to the Deck their entire consumer base would despise them.
