this game would have been significantly better without the auto solve book
>>717392907 (OP)It would have also been better if all of the languages had been structurally different instead of all of them being vocabulary and conjugation swaps of latin aside from bardic, if the last language had been learned in a real way instead of through vending machines that fed you a third of it at a time, and if it didn't have the shitty stealth segments.
I liked this game a lot
The poet language was kino to solve
So you'd have to trust your guesses for the whole game? That worked for the number system but I think puzzles like the maze (where you had to understand an entire story) would've become a crapshoot
>>717393381fucking hated the stealth segments
>>717394434I thought compass was water or stream for like the entire time
>>717395240I think there were a few times when I thought words meant something they didn't mean
>>717392907 (OP)I personally wish the puzzles were more complex. The parts were you had to translate between two different languages were the best because you really had to think about how they function.
Anyone knows more games like this? I've seen the one with the girl in a hijab, but I still need to be convinced it's worth playing because of it.
Also, Legend of Mana has a cute quest where you have to learn a language, any anons here played it?

The second golden idol game has a lot of language stuff, but you have to play the first game to understand anything
