the issue is there's no cheaper smaller ones
but if the supposedly horribly greedy according to /v/ nintendo can eat the cost I see no reason third parties couldn't, especially considering those third parties are mostly making games that will fill up those carts far more than Nintendos much smaller filesize games will

they'll fill the extra space with experimental DRM that could brick your console by accident and you have no recourse

This is fundamentally about physical third party releases. It doesn't really have anything to do with nintendo releases for anyone who doesn't get it.

And what are you gonna do about it? Boycott the Switch 2? Lmao. If every publisher does it then it becomes the norm. I predict Nintendo is going to start doing it too for 1st party titles leaving only indies and fake "good guy" publishers like CDPR still putting the game on the cart.

I'm sure Nintendo will never ever do anything scummy when it comes to their 1st party releases. They would never do such a thing.

Nintendo has a difficult decision
>Make more money
Or
>Give rights and some kind of ownership back to the players
Wonder what will they choose?

the problem isn't the storage, it's jewtendo live service DRM. they want to condition the goyim to own nothing and be happy by making these key carts as impractical as possible

>And what are you gonna do about it?
With low sales numbers, they'll have to start thinking about changing it. So either you keep doing the stupid thing of saving a few cents and losing 30, or you release the entire game on card. If you're smart, you'll choose the second option
>Boycott the Switch 2?
/facepalm
>If every publisher does it then it becomes the norm.
It won't. They won't
>I predict Nintendo is going to start doing it too for 1st party
