Why does anime never get good vidya adaptations?

Because Bandai Namco has a stranglehold on all the Shonen IPs. They know if they can push out junk it’ll sell no matter what like Gamefreak with Pokemon.

I pity the younger gen Zs that never got to experience Naruto games on PS2
One Piece grand battle/adventure is pretty solid as well
There is even Naruto Path of Ninja, although you might argue it is not that good

Although to be honest I wish for a proper balanced JRPG with solid gameplay/story integration not just the fairy tail/one piece odyssey way where the RPG elements are done so half-assedly

Dragon Ball is the only one allowed to get good games because Dragon Ball has a long history with video games and it's the only anime IP that translates well into a video game series. Goku himself has been in more video games than most if not all video game characters

Its not meant to be a good game.
Companies with new/uknown IP have to make good games to attract players into buying the game, and make them fans of the game/ip so they buy future games.
Anime IPs already have established fans that will buy the game be happy, they don't care about quality because they don't need it to win over or satisfy their customer base.
