Is Nostalgic and i cant help but appreciate it, but holy fuck i forgot how much of a slog it is. Every minute of this game feels like running against a waist deep current. I finally reached Nowhere and the end feels a thousand miles away.

It's still one of my favourite games of all times. I still replay it every once in a while.

Never found it to be a slog. The pacing is stellar, environmental variety high, and atmosphere strong.
Meanwhile, while I do like 2-3 quite a lot, I find them way less enjoyable to replay. Both have veeery sloggish beginning parts.

It's better than 2/3 and the PS1 REs.

I liked the remake of 2 but not enough to replay it. Game was so long. 2 OG everyday.
