Eh, I feel it actually did work, considering RPG is all the Taimanin focuses on now when it comes too story. The Japs still love it. The actual issue though is that:
1. RPGX flopped due to incredibly bad handling
2. The main story with the Corpse Lord and Edwin is pretty much done, leaving the plot kindof aimless
The problem isn't the gacha itself but the fact that they didn't branch out from Gacha like Fate did. Fate still does make other things like new anime, spinoff manga, and games such as Samurai Remnant. All Taimanin ever does now is stick with the gacha. Not really a feasible option if new competitors keep popping up. The only thing it has going for it is porn and who knows how long that will last considering the way Payment processors have been acting lately.

Did you miss the part where I pointed out those games are run by completely different teams? TABA had all the full time Lilith devs on it and ran for about 5 years, then got replaced with RPGX, which houses all the main devs and artists. AT is a side game that has it's own different dev team and random/new artists. The chibi game was also like AT. They aren't hurting for keeping up with content because what you think is happening is not. RPGX itself has like 15 regular artists, not counting guests or semis. That's big for a gacha alone, since even the biggest gachas don't have that many. RPGX releases new units bi-weekly, unless it's rerun (like most gachas do), so the only way you'd think tthey can't keep up with content is if you're just guessing and have zero knowledge of anything.
