the pspgo specifically sold poorly
the psp on the other hand was quite successful for its time (phones coming out and mobile marketing competing with handheld market as well as nintendo being a key player at the time)
which is funny since they had to abandon the psp quickly to focus on saving their asses with the lacking ps3 but then when they dropped the vita they promised great support from studios (and I think they kinda kept their promise, most mainline games had an entry there as well as some more obscure shit like gravity rush to name a few) but there was little interest from customers
like the vita is the exact of opposite of psp, wonder if they will try again with rumors of a sony handheld coming in 2026/2027
