Hank is an assistant manager not a drone so he makes more. Hes been working his way up for years now. He lives modestly in Texas and knows how to work on his own truck or house, minus plumbing if you factor in the “Racist Dawg” episode. Peggy also “works” as a substitute teacher on and off so that adds too it. It was also the mid 90s. Its doable as their house seems to be pretty average on the inside and outside. Two bedrooms, a small kitchen, living room and two bathrooms all on a single floor. Hanks also the type to save up money as well.

There is no real way to guess what Hank made. The reboot is set in 2023 since there and Hank left America sometime prior to COVID so in 2019 or prior.
Aramco paid him very well, but it also seems like him and Peggy made safe but smart investments since Hank's half of the dividends is about what he made in a year at Strickland which is either very good or very sad if Buck underpaid Hank that much.
