I got an idea about a family reunion Bowser went to about one of his second or third cousins use the fact he's the king of the Cooper Kingdom to sleep around and the seven of them aside from the Twin 2 came from different mothers he basically just slept with for black and white and basically was a deadbeat dad to his children and then some in that big us happen to all the mothers so hit Bowser's deadbeat cousin wanted the kids to do work for him despite that young age and have nothing they could confidently do so the Bowser family was like okay we're taking the kids away from him and Bowser wasn't paying much attention until he realized they were talking about separating all the kids because none of them could handle taking in kids all by themselves until he said something along the lines of I can I control a kingdom I'm loyalty I can financially handle it all of this before Bowser Junior comes into the picture

The koopalings are all Bowser's Nephews and Niece that he treats like children. It seems like such the perfect compromise between the US and JP stories I'm surprised they haven't done it
