Hidden Power should have been an Unown exclusive, stupidly good move to compensate for their awful stats.
That or give them an ability that multiplies their stats the more of them you have on your team and make them the only one you can use multiple of competitively.

Pokémon is a children's game and it's primarily a Japanese IP, they were thinking about teaching Japanese kids the English alphabet
