If I remember right, this is to let people buy the game however they choose, such as digitally, and get the collector goodies separately.
Otherwise they may need to buy the game twice to actually play it how they want.
I've never bought a collector's edition.

It's the Collector's Edition Nomad, the problem is that the multiple languages separate the Edition from the Nomad.

It's because digital game distribution now takes over 80% of all sales, with PC physical being near non-existent.

kind of crazy how devs managed to exclude the games from these collector's editions. last one I'll ever buy appears to be for P5 vanilla I guess, that shit came with the game on disc in a steel case, shit's pretty nice.
